Meet our team members below. At Blue Water Ponds we consult a diverse group of individuals to provide innovation paired with great customer service.
Ben Schurhamer, President and CEO-bschurhamer@bluewaterpond.com
Ben has a background in Biochemistry. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science In Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota, College of Biological Sciences.
As an undergrad Ben was able to volunteer in many organizations including: La Casa de Esperanza, Aqui para Ti, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and others. Further, he was also able to conduct research on HIV/AIDS treatments as well as other integral biochemical pathways.
Ben enjoys practicing spanish, doing research, jogging, pub trivia and fishing in his free time.

Connor has a background in Environmental Science. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Iowa State University.
Connor has worked in the field of lake management for 10 years and has contributed to various published reports.
Connor enjoys fishing, camping, golfing and reading in his free time.
Paul Schurhamer, VP Sales - paul@bluewaterpond.com
Paul brings experience from his background of Sales and Marketing attained at the University of Minnesota at Duluth.
Paul has worked with various Fortune 500 companies, including Ameriprise Financial and Wells Fargo. He manages the sales division of Blue Water Ponds providing expertise and efficient management.
Paul enjoys golfing, playing hockey, camping, reading and fishing in his free time.
John Bergstrom, Business Advisor
John has been a director of numerous publicly-traded and privately-held companies and has been involved with public offerings, private placements, as well as merger and acquisition transactions. He often serves on board compensation, audit or governance committees.
Prior to joining Blue Water Ponds, he formed RiverPoint Investments in 1995. John was employed for ten years by Cherry Tree Ventures, a Twin Cities-based venture capital management firm with a long history of finding, funding and growing successful businesses.
John is also active in community affairs with a special focus as the founder the Entrepreneurs House project which has built a Habitat for Humanity home for a low income family each year in the Twin Cities, entirely supported by small company management, employees, investors and advisors. John is also a board member and the Treasurer of Goodwill Easter Seals Minnesota
John is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, B.A., and the University of Minnesota, M.B.A..
Rashaun Sourles, Strategy Consultant rashaunps@bluewaterpond.com
Rashaun brings a wealth of experience to the Blue Water Ponds team, derived from both his undergraduate degree from Northwestern as well as his mulitple years of experience at Johnson and Johnson.
Rashaun provides Blue Water Ponds with strong marketing and branding strategies, allowing the team to grow while maintaining core values.
Rashaun enjoys reading, podcasts, biking, pub trivia and travelling.
